Registration is open for Summer Baseball: 78's, Babe Ruth, A's, and Chiefs
Please Note the time slots for the age groups for All-star tryouts
On March 9th
9 year Olds will be from 7-8 PM (8 year olds eligible)
11 year Olds will be from 8-9 PM
On March 16th
10 year Olds will be from 6-7 PM
12 year Olds will be from 7-8 PM
*players need to bring their baseball glove to tryouts.
9-12 Year old Mavericks Baseball (Cal Ripken) Tryouts
Here is some basic information on our Mavericks All-Star travel teams. (Cal Ripken) We field at least one team at each age level of 9, 10, 11, 12. On the 9 year old team (s) 8 year Olds are allowed to tryout and make the team as well. If the tryout numbers allow, we may also field 2 teams (on the 9 U) if there are enough kids to fully have 2 teams.
What are the tryouts Like?
-Each age group has a 1 hour basic baseball skills evaluation
-4 Stations: Hitting, Fielding, Pitching, Catching
-Players are rated by neutral Baseball experts
-Player needs to bring their baseball glove for tryouts
What does travel All-Star Baseball Entail?
-Season starts late April and ends in Late July or early August
-Practice schedule set by coaches
-Typically they Play in 7-8 tournaments 4 of which are in BIS/MAN
-$200 in a registration fee which is reduced to $0 with the participation in the fundraiser.
-Great way to bond with other families and friends and create memories for a lifetime.
-There is still plenty of Summertime to be enjoyed outside of Travel Baseball.
Tryout Results will be posted on the Website for all teams once ALL AGES have been completed and the results have been gone thru and tallied up. Emails will also be sent out with the results. So please check back here on the website for the results. Once the teams have been selected there also will be a Registration for the players that have made the team so please watch for information and emails on this as well.

Mandan Baseball Club, Inc. is the organization in charge of 13-19 year old boys baseball in Mandan, ND. Mandan Baseball Club, Inc. was formed in the mid-1990s as the parent organization for the Chiefs (Varsity) and A's (JV) American Legion baseball teams representing Gilbert S. Furness Post #40. The club is also in charge of the Veterans (13 & 14 Babe Ruth), 78's (Spring 7th & 8th Graders), and Mavericks (9-12 Cal Ripken League All-Stars).
